I enjoy getting up early in the morning while the stars are still twinkling and the moonlight glosses over the streets and trees around my house. Sometimes I hear the owl that lives in a tree outside my bedroom make her soft sounds as I sip coffee and write in longhand by candlelight.

One of my earliest play games was to pretend that I was teaching a group of students how to be magical witches–I was about five and really, not much has changed.
